*Thank you short letter to Ernest E. West*
I thank you very much for your braveness. The fact that you lost your eye was really unfortunate but you did it to sav e your country and the rest of your army partners.
You got awarded a really cool medal of honor that only a few can get. What you did will be remembered for the rest of peoples life. That benefits me in a way because it motivates me to be a better person and appreciate what soldiers are doing for us. I wish you rest, and to your relatives i wish them the best there could be. They should be thankful to have had you in there family.

. Ernest E. West (born September 2, 1931) was a soldier in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions on October 12, 1952.
He was raised in an orphanage at the Methodist Children's Home in Versailles, Kentucky. He returned to visit the home a few years after receiving the Medal of Honor. He was critically wounded and lost an eye in this action. but courageously returned through withering fire and bursting shells to assist the wounded. While evacuating 2 comrades, he closed with and killed 3 more of the foe. Pfc. West's indomitable spirit, consummate valor, and intrepid actions inspired all who observed him, reflect the highest credit on himself, and uphold the honored traditions of the military service.

The name i got was picked by my mother. Why?..because she wouldnt let my dad name me.
My mom picked that name for me because she always liked that name and her goal was to name there first daughter mayra, but wait theres more, i also have a middle name. its Isabel. My grandma chose that name because she loved that name and i thank her because i like it too.
